About our boards
Our BajaBoard is the most powerful, off-road, all-terrain, electric powered skateboard. The board is a unique, one of a kind adrenaline toy. Unlike other electric skateboards and mountain-boards, our boards feature a particular chassis design with a fully sophisticated suspension system. Coupled with high power, the BajaBoard is designed for superior off-road handling and durability.
Most current electric skateboards have a conventional single axle skate truck design, and only suitable for use on hard surfaces - like roads or footpaths. The suspension design of our boards gives riders the freedom and adrenaline of riding anywhere, from open fields, to windy mountainous tracks, all the way to the beach.

About Our Team
We started BajaBoard as a hobby project in 2013 in Melbourne, Australia.
At that time, electric skateboards (or e-boards) were on the rise, and being referred to as “last-mile” commuting devices. With the legality of these electric boards on roads being questionable at the best of times, our trio of Melbourne engineers decided to create a machine that would take us off the beaten path. The project started, as so many of these do, in the home garage.
Developing the board was like trying to fit an off-road car under a snowboard. It wasn’t just a matter of putting fat tires onto a skateboard – everything was designed from the ground up, including riding dynamics. The BajaBoard handles partly like a snowboard and partly like a motorbike.
Given we were the first people to introduce chassis and suspension design into skateboarding, the engineering, prototyping, and testing process was a rather long one. After numerous iterations, the first BajaBoard was delivered to early adopters in August 2015. Based on feedback from the field, we continued to improve the design and launched the G4 in 2016.
Today, we're a tight knit core team supported by strong partnerships across all sectors. We all love riding skateboards, getting out and experiencing the outdoors, and having fun while we do it
